Versioning

For main version upgrades, we version our API in the path URIs.

For this we refer to the semver conventions. However, we will only make use of the first two levels (major and minor updates).

For any API beyond beta we will keep versions backward compatible until a dropoff date which will be communicated with sufficient prior notice (>6 months time).
